May 4th, 2009 | 3 Comments | Posted in 3D Origami

This 3D origami, Butterfly, consists of a total of 100+ chinese triangular modular units. Each modular unit locks with other modular units to create the form and shape. The black units are made with magazines to create a more colorful pattern. Below are the pictures with different views of the Butterfly 3D origami.

I used the pictures above to create my own 3D butterfly but I find it difficult to create any other 3D Origami items just from the pictures, will instructions be posted as some point for other things?? This site is amazing!!
